Akhila Malankara Orthodox Shusrushaka Sangham

The Akhila Malankara Orthodox Shusrushaka Sangham (AMOSS) is the official ministry (Spiritual Organization) of the Indian Orthodox Church for guiding and supporting Acolytes (Altar Servers) across Parishes to assist clergy at the Holy Altar. The AMOSS strives to nurture committed acolytes to serve in the Holy Altar with reverence, discipline, and a deep understanding of the Orthodox faith and liturgical life. Through structured training and guidance, AMOSS helps altar servers grow in:

#) Understanding the Holy Sacraments of the Church

#) Cultivating discipline and uniformity in carrying out various tasks in community worship

#) Assisting in the celebration of worship orders

The mission of AMOSS is not only to develop skilled altar servers but to form young men rooted in Orthodox spirituality and committed to a life of service. The Parish units of AMOSS aims to:

#) Offer Liturgical training for altar servers

#) Workshops on faith, tradition, and Orthodox spirituality

#) Guidance on the responsibilities of acolytes

#) Opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth
